Why I Created The VIBE Student Tour
The VIBE Experience was born from the belief that one conversation, one opportunity, and one caring adult can change the trajectory of a young person's life. My life is proof that your circumstances do not determine your future. As a former foster youth, I experienced instability, rejection, uncertainty, and many of the same challenges that young people face today. Through faith, education, mentorship, perseverance, and determination, I transformed adversity into purpose.
Today, I am an author, speaker, entrepreneur, leadership consultant, and nonprofit founder dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and communities. I created The VIBE Student Tour because I believe one conversation, one opportunity, or one person who believes in a student can change the trajectory of their life.
How FFCC Supports VIBE
Family First Crisis Center serves as the nonprofit foundation behind The VIBE Experience, providing the leadership, partnerships, and community support needed to expand opportunities for youth and families. At Family First Crisis Center, we believe that a coat is more than clothing. It is comfort, dignity, protection, and a reminder that someone cares. Through COVER ME, we are building stronger communities one act of kindness at a time. No one should have to choose between staying warm and meeting life's basic needs.
COVER ME is a community outreach initiative of Family First Crisis Center that provides new and gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarves, blankets, and other cold weather essentials to children, families, seniors, veterans, and individuals experiencing hardship.
Our goal is simple. To ensure that every person we serve feels seen, valued, and protected during the coldest months of the year.
